Eagle - Still For Sale?

Since the Eagle is no longer in production it stands to reason there is a limited supply of Eagles. Is there a point where they will no longer be available for purchase?

If this were the case it would be a cool feature to have that when one is sold back a station it's available for purchase again.

I heard they're not actually Eagles anymore, it's just a look-a-like chassis on a Sidewinder's skeleton.
