Early access/Early Demo Poll

Really short topic here. I have wonder of the possibility of a kind of demo or "beta access" before 12/06. Something like the press event demo, ~4 dinos, some basic structures and only the start island. Arround 1 to half month before.

This not only we be a way to give us something more to keep the interest as well show us that many of the litte things that is not present in the base game (such Benchs and Trash Cans XD) will be already implemented.

So, what your think guys? Do you want some form of early access? If yes, when? One month before the release? One week? A free demo, one for all copies or a Deluxe exclusive?

I would love an early access demo but I can't see it. Would have been nice to those that brought the deluxe edition.

I would settle for some updated game play footage. I want to enjoy the game in its entirety when it is fully released.

Too bad not many (if any) developers have demos anymore (or at least that I know of). It's the perfect way to see if you like the game or not. I think that demos might even reduce the amount of pirated games, since a lot of people pirate because they want to try the game before buying it.

I think you're giving those people too much credit for their illegal activities. [haha]

I'd be happy if they showed us a long gameplay like the one in March on Matanceros Island itself but with the advanced game, blood and dangerous carnivores. Not a demo, only a couple of great gameplays.

I also would not want a demo. A demo wouldn't quench my thirst for this game, merely tease me, leave me wanting more.

This being an offline game, I don't really see it plausible for there to be a public beta test for it either.

But isn't that exactly why a demo would be usefull? To have people experience something small, only to have them want more? Demos being free, they're very approachable for people looking for something to play, but who are hestitant about actually buying it in fear of being disappointed ($60+ can be a tad intimidating, especially for people who don't have much to spend).

Then I'd be giving my dad not enough credit when it comes to these things, and I doubt he is the only one. If there's a game that is in one way or another very enjoyable or artfully made, he buys the game. Such games include, but are not limited to; DOOM 2016, the latest Tomb Raider, Unreal Tournament. Same goes for movies. So yes, there are still some honest people around :D.

I would love a early demo to the game a week early for the deluxe purchase. Also i believe we should be able to download the game 24hrs in advance so when the timer hits zero we can just turn it on.
