Is a oldie computer, but work for the moment. Me brother usually use this computer for games. Me first rig, is for 3d design and modelling workstation. When work some freelance task. (32gb ram is for rendering big projects)

Nothing special, pretty much the result of rolling part upgrades over the past 6 years.

I'm probably going to build a fresh PC sometime in the next couple of years, because recycling is cool and all.... but aging parts causes minor troubles over time.
(I've replaced 3 HDDs in the past 12 months).

Yesterday I played some hours with the Alpha and my performance was ok, more or less. I can't play in "high" mode so I selected "medium". Maybe the anti-aliasing or oclusion filter is too much for my graphic card (Nvidia GTX 660M 2Gb). I hope that they increase a lot of graphic options like RCT3 to get the best performance for each one. When the park has many visitors, the frame rate falls hard and I need to change to "low" to play correctly (not enough fps too).
I can't play correctly the Kraken's Park that came with the alpha... :'(

Im looking at getting another pc, do you think something like this would be good enough to play this game well?
Intel i5 (unsure what i5 to look for, i7 is out of budget i think)
8-16gb
GTX970 or 980 (would 970 be good enough)

I played on a i5 3,2ghz , 8gb 1600 ddr3, anti 7870 2gb without problems! Every park load runs fast. Just update my 8gb up to 16gb for 40€ and that's it. A gtx 960 is enough and just200€
