Early Birds In The Sky With Diamonds (a message to the Founders)

There was a small group of us who were here in this forum in the "early days", back when ED PS4 was only a demo at PAX. There's been different ideas to commemorate our little group, including a nice video that one ReclusiveMonkey (now regenerated) posted on YouTube.

While I was out exploring, I had a new idea (at least I think it's new). There are systems with loads of planets and moons, sometimes 50 or more! What if one of us, while exploring, finds a completely undiscovered system of this size and we save it as our "Hollywood Boulevard" where each of us scans one planet / moon? We would literally have our names etched in the stars!

If at least a few of us "Founding Guys & Gals" agree to this, it should be a system relatively close to the Bubble, as not everyone will own exploration ships capable of crossing the galaxy. On the flip-side, it should be remote enough that someone doesn't discover it accidentally and steal it from us. It would also be cool if it were a system "with a view", which may be a bit harder to find (POIs have been heavily explored) but worth it. In other words, there's no rush to find this system and no need to settle for something "boring." Nor is there a reason to dedicate all our resources to this project - I for one plan to explore for the sake of exploring, and if I find such a system that's cool, I'll bookmark it and save a screenshot or two to share with the group.

The actual sharing of the system name / location should be done through private channels. If you have find a system you think is worthy, PM me a screenshot of the system map and I can pass it along to the other members for a vote.

Finally, I think the easiest way to deal with the, "I want my name on the biggest planet!" is to just follow the first come, first serve rule. Remember, we each get just one planet / moon / star! Monkey, if you could give us the number of "Founding Guys & Gals" in your video montage, that would be very helpful in finding an appropriately-sized system.

What are your thoughts, Founders?

ps - any group with a population less than the size of a large solar system can adopt this idea!
