Powerplay Faction: Aisling Duval earn merrits

i was wondering does the merrits by combat still work ?

I meen when i go to a Yuri Grom system and find ships from Yuri Grom and i shoot them down does this still give me merrits ?
I havent played for over a year so maybe that has changed
Somehow i dont seem to be able to collect the ships i shot down


so the questions are
1 does it still work
2 how do i collect

For me it works great!
Check on the powerplay screen what kind of ships you need to attack. Every power has a different one.
I kill mr Mahon ships and need to kill alliance burocrats.

You get a bounty but its only powerplay so you can still Dock everywhere, also enforcers come and hunt you. But they give merrits too. I been doing iT for 2 days. Loving iT till now

Got like almost 3500 merrits with “undermining”.( killing specific npcs). Works like a charm.

For every power iT different npcs. Check on the power you want to attack and they say what you need to kill... now not in game but when i wake up i can tell more per power

Ok thnx now i know it still works

I checked your post but i dont really understand what to do
So what system i need to go to and what ships i need to kill
Atm i am in my Vett and it does the job even without the twinkling shileds

LOL, i use my vette too....

i don't know if i am doing it correctly but i think i am....
just started up the game (forgive me its like 2:45 in the night for me :-0)

you have to choose which power you would like to "undermine"

when i choose edmund mahon i check which npcs i have to kill: (control tab)

it says "Alliance Bureaucrats"

so when in supercruise, i just target npcs and when they say "alliance bureaucrats i interdic them and can kill and fire away.

for example when i choose Yuri Grom i get:

EGP agents.
So every power has their own npcs you can Freely kill

also i just choose a system close to my Power edge.... and thats it.... havent had anyone tell me how to choose the correct system.
Still its great and getting me a lot of merrits and also combat rank.....

so for me now its good :)

( power edge I Mean on the galaxy map check the edge of your power and choose a close system.....)

Forgive me I have just been doing iT for 2 days

yeahh [big grin] untill 5 am orso

it seems that they have changed it
1.5 years ago i use to pledge to duval and then i just shot all ships of yuri grom to pieces and i got my merrits
now i did the same and i am a hostile on my vette just picked up my cutter and thats not hostile [mad]

so now i have to figure out to get rid of the hostile and then start earning merrits
stupid devs they keep changing things :mad:

Also I get “ enforcers”. They hunt me down.... but give me merrits too

Too late now :). I saw your private massage but friend me ingame cmdr jijik2. Love to do 2 vette and killing lost of npcs with you. And yeah I am dutch but english works for me.

ok done and works fine

for those who are dazzled by all this lets make a list (correct me if i am wrong)


  • first pledge to duval
  • now open the powerplay screen
  • then choose Yuri Grom
  • then choose control
  • now on the left side you see all the fortify stuff just pick one that is close by
  • be aware that on the right side you will see 2 collums when they are both at or close to 100% choose another one because the EPG agents will not spawn and you go there with no or litle results
  • now you see what to do as showen in the pictures above on undermine ............. it says kill EPG agents
  • when uou get to th system just scan the ships and they will show EPG agent
  • pull them out (not so easy) and kill them
thats all folks
tip:
kill the fighter pilots when they carry them they also count for merrits ;)
