Earning money

Im in a bit strange situation now. Ive got 130-140 animals in my park and 3.000 visitors. The game ist pretty laggy with 15-20fps, but im getting used to it (just like in planet coaster).

The normal money was never a factor. i earned money like it was nothing. So i increased my capital up to 1.5 mil $, just without doing anything. But after a while i noticed, my capital started decreasing. Somehow i lost money. At first i thought it depended to my new huge tortoise/primate house (really nice, would love take it from the beta to the game in November). But it wasnt connected to that new building (or me, spending money for building it.

So i took a look in my financial stats: Im spending 120k $ per year just for animal food. its around 70% of all my costs while im earning just around 95k $ per month by tickets, donations, shops and everything else. In Common im losing around 100k $ each year now. So what should i do? at every exhibit are some Donation-boxes, i already increased the ticket price to 60/30 (my visitors arent accepting more at the moment)

Should i take less money to get more visitors and for more opportunities to take donations and let them buy in shops? But that will make my laggy game even slower. Give my animals food thats not that good? I mean, i researched it and now i cant give it to my animals? Kinda weird. What should i do to get back the balance?

Hmm, how many keeper huts and keepers do you have, because each keeper will store an allotted amount of premade food with them despite not being able to see it when they go to prep food for where they are set to go, so if you have multiple keepers assigned to the same habitat, make sure not all of them are allowed to be in charge of food, because if you have say for example, 2 keepers both allowed to input food to the same habitat and they both show up, check what the animal needs then both go to a hut and prep a meal, if somehow one gets to the enclosure before the other and adds food, then the other food that was made gets wasted, I would suggest have 1-2 keepers per habitat, Ive been doing pretty okay with 1 assigned per habitat if it is a fair size, if the habitat is huge I usually assign 2 keepers, one specified to adding food and cleaning and another that is only allowed to clean, that way no food is wasted...
