My 2nd undiscovered 'Earth-like' world:

I can't help thinking that 'Earth-like' is stretching it a bit though:

O.63 G - reasonable enough. I'm not sure what a 62% Argon, 27% Nitrogen and 11% Oxygen atmosphere would be like to breathe, but plausible I suppose. And 294 K would be ideal - were it not for the fact that the planet is tidally locked. Somehow the nice cyclonic weather patterns and polar ice cap don't ring true for a tidally-locked planet. To my mind, there would have to be perpetual hurricane-force winds blowing, assuming that the planet could actually sustain an atmosphere at all. Maybe someone here with a bit more knowledge of the subject could comment - is an atmosphere even plausible in such conditions? I'd have thought that it would all either dissipate into space on the hot side, or freeze solid on the cold side, and the chances of the atmosphere being in equilibrium in such conditions would be remote.
