So like many of you I spawned in gamma, I was 147 Ly from my freagle, so in decided to travel to get it. I stripped my Sidey bare and managed almost 10 Ly jump range.
After arriving at LHS 3447, I picked up my Eagle, and stored my Sidey (0 cr for selling anyway). I then decided to travel the 100+LY to Earth.
Along the way with my 8.47 Ly range Eagle I hit a lot of dead end routes, and ran out of fuel numerous times, in one case I decided to just go the distance with my remaining fuel, and try for the 6.5 Ly system without jumping. Alas I failed, but did manage to reach over 1,500c speed before my fuel ran dry and I died with a smokey, sparky bang.
I travelled on and after what seemed an eternity, I saw the best sight I had for a long time. SOL !!.
As I still had plenty of fuel I decided to visit each planet in the system.
FINALLY EARTH !!!
What a journey, I parked up at the Abraham Lincoln and stood back to reflect on my battered but faithful Eagle.
