Engineers Easier material collecting on planets in 2.3.10?

Is it just me or are rocks targetable (is that a word?) at much longer distances with the new patch?

I went looking for Tellurium and immediately noticed that meteorites, outcrops etc. now become visible on scanner and can be selected and shot at from beyond 200 m, while recently it was more like 50 m. This makes it much easier to locate and shoot rocks even in rough terrain.

BTW collecting flying material chunks in 0.03g is quite fun :)

The rocks are now targetable from 250m out rather than 50m, which is a good QoL change. When you shoot & destroy the rocks the materials are still only detectable from 50m, which I don't mind.

I have found is pretty easy (and fun) to fire on the rocks while in the air & still moving towards them, generally speeding up the whole process.

I have found is pretty easy when rocks are on higher gravity planet. Can collect 5 in 10 secs. They just drop on the ground near the rock instead of flying around.

Unimportant note, on my low spec laptop with low gfx settings, I jump around and can spot rocks far away without radar. :p

using a top tier PC, I`ve lowered the number of rocks, so I don't have to dodge, jump or go mars rover full throttle (5 centimeters per second).
