Easier module power cycling

We already have the priorities for which modules turn on and off when we lose power for whatever reason... how about a bindable hotkey to manually cycle up/down power?

'Less power' turns off the modules in the lowest priority group that current has any modules enabled.

'More power' turns on all the modules in the highest priority group that doesn't have all modules enabled.

Perhaps instead/in addition, since there is a max of 4 module priorities, allow keybinding to go straight to each level.

I'm confused as to the benefit to this. When you lose power, it's because your ship's power plant doesn't output enough to supply all your modules, mostly when your weapons throw it over budget. The main idea behind priorities is to turn off things you won't need during combat. If you set things like your D Scanner or Interdictor for the lowest priority, they turn off first when you hit a low power state. Otherwise they are already on, and they turn back on when the power requirements change, like when you put your weapons back into the hardpoints. Having excess power doesn't actually do anything but allow you to run more modules. It doesn't affect the charge rate of your systems. That's what the power distributor does. You either have enough power, or you don't. Just buy a new power plant already.

I only want it so I can do the cold and silent sneak into a station without going in and out of the side panel, before during and after. I don't love the side panel interfaces, especially not during such a maneuvre. I know you can just steam in at high speed to avoid a scan but I have fun doing it this way.

It's a small thing and not worth the effort for this, but then again, you never know what might be coming down the road that might require some more advanced power management.

Ah, now I understand. That would be interesting to have.
