currently the only way to see a certain skin on a dinosaur is to breed it, decide if you like the color and keep it or sell it and try a new one, rinse and repeat.
It would be nice if there was an update/patch where you can see exactly what the skin looks like on the dinosaur through the InGen database after you make it the first time, rather than just seeing the color shades in the incubation center next to the null gene model and hope you have an idea of what it will look like until its too late.
Plus if you’re like me and you play the game for a period, walk away for a few weeks, then come back to it, it can be a major pain having to remember what your favorite skins were for your favorite dinosaurs and having to breed a new batch of skins all over again just to find out. Having a reference to go to rather than waste all that time and money would be extremely helpful when making a new park and trying to match skins with enclosures to get that right feel for your park.
