Newcomer / Intro Easy 900K CR - Community Goal - Restoring Order in Arque

I don't know if anyone is still reading this, but I just want to note that it's well worth going on past just getting into the 99%. It didn't take me too long to make around 370K in bounties (which you get to keep btw) and that put me in the 50% bracket. I just checked .... $10+M!!

I'm flying a vulture, which I like for combat as it has excellent maneuverability.

That's the thing about Vulture and two large hard points. What weapons do you have on the Vulture? Is it true that it's tricky to set up because of power/heat limitations?

BTW, so how do you play CGs like this in general? Do you mostly just scan the system and interdict wanted ships or you'd rather go into signal sources, conflict zones and extraction sites?

The power limitations don't apply if you have the access to mods. Grade 1 overcharged powerplant is enough to make Vulture twice the ship she was originally. And all you need is 10 units of sulfur to make ten rolls and choose the best one from them. :D

If you don't have Engineers, then my "Stock A-rated" Vulture usually rolls with two pulse lasers or a beam plus multicannon. Both work wonders.

If there is a RES in the bounty hunting CG system, it's the best option. Interdicting pirates from SC or waiting for them at the Nav Beacon is much slower.
If it is a war CG, then there are conflict zones by default.

I have two 3F pulse lasers with auto tracking. The damage is not high, but it compensates for my not-so-good piloting skills so I think I get more damage in practice than if I had fixed lasers. I have my shields tanked up as far as I can (will be better now I have more cash) with a 5E shield generator and two 0B shield boosters. Also a heat sink launcher and point defense.

I don't recall much in the way of power/heat limitations. I did fit a 4B power plant and a 5E power distributor which seem to handle everything.

I'm not all that experienced in bounty hunting, so you will get better advice from others. I don't know how to interdict ships and don't carry the required equipment. I mainly go to nav beacons which tend to have a steady flow of traffic, good and bad guys at various levels, and cops.

For a bounty hunting CG, or bounty hunting in general, don't go to the Conflict Zones (much to rough and most are lawless not wanted) any of the RES sites and NAV beacons work but be aware that there are usually no security ships in or going to go to HAZ RES sites they will be a target rich environment but sooner or later you will be the target.
