easy and cheesy way to rank fed rank

As the title says: I need a easy and cheesy way to rank up fed rank.

Now I'm an imperial pilot... but I want a corvette...
I spend a lot of time in imperial space and don't have time to grind fed rank.

Now I hear 17 draconis apparently has a lot of donation missions that you can use to cheese the system but I don't know it its been fixed or not

anyway any help apprecicated

You probably don't deserve a Corvette, then. ;)

Donation missions in Fed systems are probably your best bet. I don't know if it's accurate or just my perceptual bias, but I see more donation missions in systems at war. I would filter the galaxy map for Fed systems at war and go to one of them.

Niu Hsing used to be the place to go for data deliveries, not sure if it is still viable though.

It was working great for me last week, but you have to wait til at least one of the Fed factions in each system is in Boom to get the most out of it.

As an added bonus, after completing several data deliveries and getting to Allied with all Fed factions in the two systems, you'll start getting chained planetary scan missions that seem to offer the same rank boost as the data delivery missions. They can be handy because they get generated whether the factions are in Boom or not, and they also pay way more.

Ah thank you everyone for your replies

Currently I am grinding in a system called Taribes... got good amount of scan and donation missions but takes some board hopping.

Will only ever gain Fed rank to earn Sol permit, I've never fantasised about flying a brick in space.

Tick list. I don't have one so I am doing exactly the dame thing. I fly my cutter but I want a vette as well. Will be heading for Sothis tonight.

Niu Hsing is pretty viable. I've ranked up nearly all the way to Rear Admiral there. And delivery missions chain up to give you a planetary scan mission which, in between the monotonous grinding, you just realize you've piled up a considerable amount of millions on the side with that (I made like 180 mill of a pocket change without noticing while grinding there. I was always picking up the donate moneh missions too, a couple of millions were getting donated every couple of runs). But just at one point all the missions dried up. I moved myself to Ceos-Sothis data deliveries to grind the last 3-4 ranks.

And... brick in space is a reference to the Corvette?

OP you have to realise something.

Elite D'fromage is absolutely fine..

The system is designed to be cheesed!

You can't fly a Cutter, and Corvette, and have a bank balance of 30 billion credits on just crackers alone!

Don't know if this is of any help, but...

"Transport x to y" passenger missions have +++rep. Most other missions, passenger or otherwise, carry + or ++.

As you were. :)

More referring to Federal Dropbrick, Assaultbrick and Gunbrick. I've heard the Corvette's nimble but it just reminds me of .... the Feds :/

Oooh that. Federal Dropbrick and the Gunbrick truly don't receive much love from the community due their general bricky nature. I agree. They are the perfect ship to bring someones windows down. But I'm not sure about the Assaultbrick though, a stock Assaultbrick is slightly more manuverable than a stock Viper Mk3 (while boasting 5x the armor as you would expect from an Assault brick).

FGS:

G5 dirty drives etc

Seven engineered multis

Dual Imp Fighters (fixed beam)

High level NPC fighter pilot

It is a beast!

Great for CZ's, BH etc.

Brilliant with FA-off.

Brutally ugly, too.

What's not to love?
