Easy way to make flat land?

I was wondering if anyone wanted to share an easy way to make non sloped flat land. I was toying with terrain earlier and getting frustrated. Any methods people out there use?

There should be a flatten tool specifically for that... (I think it's the one with the Ferris wheel on it.)

There's Flatten to Foundation (Ferris Wheel Icon) and Flatten to Surface (Arrow into a hillside) tools. Both of these tools work off of terrain that has already been pushed or pulled into approximately the correct height or angle.

Yes, the flatten to foundation - use this on an already lowered part and hold down the mouse button to flatten, then slowly move the mouse around WHILE holding down the button - set the intensity/size before.

Note - this tool just does horizontal - so you can do floors - and if indoors - ceilings too (cave roofs etc).

Flatten to surface - is very similar to foundation - but before you click move the mouse around and watch the circle around the mouse and look at the angle. When at the angle you want then HOLD the mouse button and move the mouse around like before - this will now flatten the area but at the angle of the circle.

Best thing to do is play around with the tools and watch what they do - They are some of the best tools I've ever seen!
