Newcomer / Intro ECM and Sheild Cell Question.

Hi,

I am confused, I have an ECM and a shield cell fitted on fire group 2 with my guns on fire group 1.

Do they activate automatically as I do not see an option to set them to a key in the options.

Should they be in fire group 1 or are they OK in 2 and if so would I need to activate group 2 for them to work?

Yes you need to toggle them, find the button to change fire groups and the HUD will then show ECM etc I believe Shields Cells can be set to another button if needed.

Hi Cmdrs,

Thank you very much for the reply.

I found a key binding for the use shield cell but the description says that there is no need to bind it to the current fire group as it just allows a quicker shield recharge, the binding is so you can change cells if you have more than one.

There is nothing about ecm but I will try that as part of the 2nd fire group.
