Powerplay Economic Analysis of Cycle 27

This cycle I decided to try to put an actual credit cost onto PowerPlay. The credit values are primarily estimates, but they do give a good impression of the economic situation in PowerPlay.

I'm going to link to the document rather than post it here, as it is ~12,000 characters. I'm pretty sure that won't be allowed in a forum post.

My week 27 analysis sheet is here, and it is linked directly to the economic analysis part.

And to wet your tastes slightly, this is the kind of data that I have managed to compile for the economic analysis.

Interesting. Virtual rep +1!

What it shows, and what is happening now, is that larger powers are suppressing smaller ones by sheer numbers, and there is nothing smaller powers can do about it at every stage of powerplay now. So I can't see the ranks changing radically, if ever.

I'm impressed at my power, Antal, being so valuable. The majority of Utopias systems are worthless.

One of the Imperial Powers is bound to collapse at some point and their territory is within your reach, while you guys also have combat expansions.

When that happens, you guys are serious contenders for a superpower, alongside Delaine. Just try to keep your economy healthy until then.

You inspired me to look at the actual credits paid out by each power to their players.
Total cr paid (assuming everyone is rating 5) is just the total merits chart with a different scale on the axis.

Here are the cr paid out for cycle 27 on a per system basis, so you can see which power is getting value for their "employees"

The pay-out will obviously change quite significantly this cycle, as both Hudson and ALD have combat expansions. But I do find it quite interesting that Mahon is this low on the block.

Well, with undermining being 100% unknown, maybe its fairer to just look at total fortification.
See how much it costs to just maintain each powers territory.

Mahon looking very good in the amount paid for total fortification, under 20 million cr per system.
The Emperor is paying over 4 times that amount to her pledged players to fortify for her.
