ED Alpha NPC Names

Do they still exist? I'm talking about Cod, Bat-Crazy Roy, and the like. I'd love to see them floating around the space-lanes.

More to the point, I'd like a few Alpha/Beta backer-only missions featuring them as a kill-crazy wing of deadly Sidewinders. Oh, and an Elite-only assassination mission to terminate Crimson Dawn. She's obviously out there unravelling the galaxy unopposed. Perhaps these NPCs could be set up to only spawn in Shinrarta Dezhra?

I'd rather them to spawn in Eranin, or Zelada, or Iota Cruxis. At the rate I'm going, I'll never get to Shinrarta Dezhra. A pirate simply can't.
