It already is, once a year is regular.

No the date is displayed in your picture just above where it says Frontier Developments and then Bonus reward

It's regular in that it's happened every year for the last few years. It also shows the date at the top of the mail

I missed 2 days because I logged in too late. It apparently reset at midnight UTC. That's 4PM-7PM in the continental US.
That's what I get for taking a break from ED over the holidays. I'm back now though
