Yeah, fiddled with those; I use headphones and the other options are either just as quiet or quieter still.In the audio part theres the option to select Normal speakers/headphones, Home cinema, and night mode.

For those experiencing volume problems, has it become worse since Beta/Gamma 1, or has it always been like that?
Is your audio connected via HDMI, analogue cables, optical?
What is your soundcard? (or graphics card if using HDMI audio)
Are you in surround or stereo?
What dynamic range option do you have enabled in the audio options screen?

Hi Edward, thanks for quering this. My issue with sound is different - volume is actually ok, but I get cracking sound there and here. It might be CPU Interrupt (then it is general programming, not covered by sound team), but it might be some spikes in frequency too
