ED crashes when resolution set at 2K

I upgrades my graphics card to a MSI 2080 but ED still crashes when I try to set the resolution to 2K, and yes I have a 2K HD monitor. It accepts the 144 hz refresh rate but if I pick the 2048 x 1080 resolution from the drop down and the second I click apply the system crashes. I know the graphics card is good and it supports 2k in other applications. Any suggestions???

Have you tried it in all 3 display modes? (Full, Borderless, Windowed)

I cannot find a single monitor with a resolution of 2048x1080, are you sure that is correct? What is your monitor?

I think you mean 2,560 x 1,440 px, which is 2k resolution.

2048*1080 is an unusual resolution that is probably shown due to the presence of a VR headset or other device besides your monitor. As mentioned a "2K" monitor is 2560*1440 resolution and trying to set 2048*1080, without adding that as a custom resolution in the NVIDIA control panel or manually editing it into the monitor driver, is quite likely to cause issues.

I would suggest not overclocking your graphics card until you have this problem figured out. I've had problems in the past with ED and non standard timing. Hope you get it figured out!
