Newcomer / Intro ED Engineer - seems to find an old CMDR save of same name so overlay not working in game

I installed ED Engineer and after an initial issue of it all being in Spanish (don't ask - especially when I only additionally speak French & German!), I got it to install properly the second time BUT...
It has TWO Commander SportyScribe entries. One bizarrely referencing a FrEagle (that I never flew even in my previous incarnation) and one that has all my current materials.

However, the overlay won't work when I am in game using CTRL-F10 although this works back out in the Windows Desktop to bring the screen up and minimise.

Any ideas how to stop it latching on to what must have been my initial CMDR as all I did was Space-Bar the original SportyScribe and start again from scratch... no full game reinstall etc....

Ta in more hope than expectation!

In game I think CTRL-F10 is the hard coded combination for a high resolution screenshot in Solo and perhaps PG but that isn’t an option in Open so that could be causing a conflict.

Ahhh ok - and I guess the tutorial I was looking at might have been a bit old...
I really don't want to uninstall the whole shebang and re-install it... and I have had a rootle through the Frontier Developments App Data folder but I can't find anything obvious that thinks it is a previous save. Apart from doing registry stuff (which, just no!) I think ED Engineer might have to be an ALT-TAB function while I am gadding about the universe collecting mats.

In reality - I specced up a gaming machine from Chillblast 5 years ago when ED came out so I suppose at some stage I ought to upgrade (although that might have to wait until work picks up post pandemic... if it ever does!)... then I would be able to do the whole install from scratch.

I would just recommend Inara instead.
Used to use EdEngineer in ye olden days, but there is no need when Inara does everything you would want with an (almost certainly) better interface
