Kudos for taking the time and effort to do this. Modmaker's always impress me with their ingenuity. :)

I have to be honest, I'm not a fan of the blur in the first 'Python in station' screenshot. -- Why is there blur?

I've played around with this today and can't seem to find settings that look good everywhere. I used the SweetFX_Settings_Elite_ Dangerous_EDFX 2.2 Custom SweetFX and the SweetFX_Settings_Elite_ Dangerous_Desaturated Orange files and something always looks goofy no matter what I turn on and off.

To be honest, that looks like a "How ELITE looks when you had 2 drinks too much" ;)
Evil persons might even label it Filmed in patent-pending BlurryVision(tm).

Dunno, some of those Screens look like 0.5x SuperSampling with a severe overdose of FXAA to cover it up (?)

I've installed it, but now ED crashes at start up. Any suggestions?

ED works OK, after I've uninstalled Reshade.

Hello friends,
The main idea here was to provide this new tool, this injector to ED community.
I should call this a beta version, because I'm still working tweaking some of those effects, and this takes time, anyway, now is possible to turn on/off some effects while running the game (Pressing Shift F12).

Blur
This time I disable DOF due to performance hits, the intense blur effect is caused by GAUSSIANBLUR, I will try to make it less intense.

Glare
When close to a bright star the glare effect will be very intense, but some other light emitters like space station, spotlights, ships will not cause too much glare. To control this, the threshold for BLOOMANDLENSFLARE setup to 0,92.

The FPS hit depends of your setup, typically there will be no FPS hit. But if your GPU lacks memory, you may have some performance issues at highs resolutions (above 1080p).

Please leave further suggestions.

Hello NW3,

Figure out which API the game uses for rendering, or any of the following DLL
names the game loads and rename the DLL you just copied to that:

Direct3D8 => d3d8.dll
Direct3D9 => d3d9.dll
Direct3D11 => d3d11.dll
Direct3D10+ => dxgi.dll
OpenGL => opengl32.dll (for 64bit too)

Just try to rename the dxgi.dll to something like d3d11.ddl may fix this crash problem.
#also may requires a GPU driver actualization.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick reply! Changing the name to d3d11.dll fixed my crash. I'm primarily interested in the anti-aliasing. I tried enabling the 2 AA settings, but unfortunately, it didn't really improve the AA as much as I'd hoped it would.

It's a bad camera effect. Designed to give the appearance of depth as when viewing through a camera lens. The problem, devs generally lack the intelligence to figure out that they put the game in first person then force a camera effect on player, instead of making it appear as if they are looking through the characters eyes instead of a stupid camera. More of a dumb Hollywood effect process that implies some form of beautiful graphic process when it only detracts from gameplay, and the immersion they are trying to put you in. It's become a standard in FPS, and IMO is a hugely bad one.
