I'm launchingElite Dangerous: Horizons (64-bit) through Oculus Home. I get the loading screen (in the Oculus), then it says "Sorry, Elite Dangerous: Commander Deluxe Edition is taking a while to load. If this issue persists, please take off your headset and check this app on your computer.". The Elite Dangerous(Client) window is black\blank (once there was some sort of mostly still image), I can hear music in the Oculus headphones but the game never loads.
I have been told to click the options menu and validate the files through the launcher but the menu flickers and won't stay open when the game isn't running. When the game is running the menu will open but that option will be gone.
I've also been told to launch the game in desktop mode, go to graphics and set it to HMD. I've tried that and the game does load in desktop mode. I've tried with both the headphones and speakers option. Still no luck.
I guess unless someone else has experienced this or knows how to get this working my next step is to try uninstalling\reinstalling the game.
