ED Horizons on Windows 10 under Mac Bootcamp

Hi, I wonder if someone can help.
I have a fresh install of Windows 10 running on a Mac under Bootcamp.
I have installed ED Horizons, but it runs soo slowly that I cannot even use the initial menus to load the commander.
Any suggestions?

Hello there, Bootcamp brother ;) I'd say that how well horizons runs depends on which Mac you're using, and how old it is. Mostly, though, for Horizons it will be graphics card dependent. What you describe makes me think it's an old mac mini maybe? just a guess

Thanks for your replies.
Actually I am running on a 2015 iMac.
I have very successfully run ED Horizons on this machine, but under Windows 7.
Having updated the OS, I cant run Windows 7 any longer and had to update to Windows 10.

I don't know enough about streaming services to know if it would help, but I assume I would end up having to buy the game again.

Ok, so the problem was easily fixed in the end.
I assumed that bootcamp would install the necessary support software and drivers for the iMac in windows.
It didn't; as soon as that was sorted ED worked fines.
