ED on steam and want to buy horizons

I have ED through Steam and now I want to pre-order Horizons.

Can this be done through Steam and still get the discount?

What do I need to do?

Can't be done through steam yet, you need to get it via the FD store. I normally use steam myself but for the Horizons beta it has been pointed out that you have to use the FD store version of the launcher as the Horizons beta won't show on steam yet.

Bit late but: Horizons is not on steam and is only available in the FD store.
Since steam links to your FD account it won't break anything and will apply to your existing account.

Not 100% sure but afaik at some point horizons will go to steam and at that point anyone already with horizons will get the option to request a steam key as they did with the main game last year.
