Read the reason for the timer: You currently do not have a defined location in space because the fleet carrier you are docked at is in process of jumping.Steam demanded an update in the Library. Then it has to send me a verification code. Then when the game finally came up, I had to sit through three minutes of this.
WHY??? Epic doesn't require all this rigmarole.
Please post a screenshot of the error message.Since today, I can't launch the game using Steam. It say "hardware problem" and create a "shadow" launcher with different language.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Follow what I call "shadow" directory (the real one is above), and the Launcher image. The launcher seems the same except the language. But the Directory has some weird configuration.Wait until it's complete. Then show me the "shadow" launcher with the different language. Censor out your first and last name and any other personal information i.e. email.
Ok thanks I will try this and give you a feedback asap. Can you try to log out the machine? (Options -> Log out Machine)
This will clear the machine binding and force a relog.
If you own the game on steam and purchased it after April 2019, start the launcher from Steam.
If you own the game on Epic you need to start it from the Epic Games Launcher.
And no, that's not a "shadow directory".
The one without the underscore is your commander cache data (sans logs, they are under saved games) and game settings are.
The one with the underscore is the launcher settings directory.
Ok many thanksTry reinstalling/repairing .NET framework here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...vailable-942a01e3-5b8b-7abb-c166-c34a2f4b612a
I force the launcher relog, and so far so good. I also tried to repair/reinstall .NET but the "Options" box still don't work, appearing for just one second. Thanks the support. Can you try to log out the machine? (Options -> Log out Machine)
