Hey guys.
Just putting it out there. Is there currently a Surface Mining Connector (similar to the EDMarketConnector)

If not, would it be easy for someone with some coding skills to develop ?

I'm basically trying to find a small little utility that with the press of a shortcut key, will take a list of all the materials in the immediate area and post it to a GoogleSheet of my choosing.
For Example. Drive up to an Outcrop, blow it up, press your shortcut key and have the utility list which materials are on the ground in front of you and post it to a GoogleSheet

I want to keep track of which planet has what materials, and how much of it is there.
My outfit and I have started a GoogleSheet that we maintain manually, but would be awesome if we could find a way to do it automatically.

If we could get a small little utility like this developed, then perhaps we could create a player based, galaxy wide GoogleSheet that everyone could contribute to. It would make trying to find materials that little bit easier.

There's kind of something already out there.
Look in the Engineers page. There's a sticky with data like that that some one has already started.

There was a CMDR Galax_____ who was working on an OCR scanner for the system map that might also have the tools to scrape the contacts page....
but I do not know how much farther he's taken it.

For our Planetary Surveys, we are just using an old spread sheet with all the materials listed ... filling them in by hand.
Technology today! :D
