Hardware & Technical ED Tracker Issues in Win 10

Hi Guys and Girls,

I upgraded to Win 10 but the software (UIPRO 201) immediately crashes every time I try and load it

This is limiting my use of my ED tracker pro as I want to be able to calibrate it properly.

I've tried running it as an admin and in compatibility mode to no avail

Any ideas or suggestions?

Many thanks

1) Is .NET all up-to-date in terms of patches?
2) We've had 1 or 2 cases of users with X52 controllers reporting a similar issue - do you have one? If you unplug it, does the problem go away? In fact, can you unplug any other controllers just to see if it's a similar pattern, maybe with another make of controller?

Thanks... I think my .NET is all up to date (4.6) what's the method to ensure this is up to date ?

I do have an X55 rhino and another controller too - so I'll try running the programme without those attached.

Many thanks for the help

Just through Windows Updates really; was just checking that there were not outstanding patches or you were way out of date - doesn't sound like it, but always worth stating/checking.

Be interested to hear if this does make the problem go away - Windows 10 seems to do some strange things around USB :(

Hello,

Thanks again for your help.

I've unplugged my joysticks and exactly the same error occurs (i.e. the progamme instantly crashes when loaded)

Also I tried installing .net 4.6 however my computer informs me that my installation is up to date.

Any other suggestions?

Many thanks - Ben

PS - I tried the .NET repair which made a few changes, however the programme still crashes immediately upon launch.

Windows 10 is fully up to date also.

Hi, I was having this problem with my new EDTracker Pro where no matter how I seemed to launch it it would crash. I narrowed it down to the program I was using for in-game overlays (PlayClaw), I've now got the EDTracker Pro UI on the blacklist so it doesn't try to put an overlay on it.

Hope this helps!
