EDD -> EDSM sync question

Hello,

I'v been using ED Discovery application for quite some time (>2y) but it was only recently that I created account on EDSM.
I invested maybe 1 hour into trying to upload my ED logs to EDSM with no success.

Things I tried:

• generating API key in EDSM and setting it in my account in EDD, then playing couple of days with no effect (empty dashboard in EDSM)
• manually uploading logs to EDSM with no success (after drag&dropping log file or using open-file-dialog to select log file in EDSM upload page, nothing happened)
• searched web for any relevant posts talking about syncing of data from EDD to EDSM not working or how to proceed when it doesn't

I can't imagine such a great feature being broken for longer period of time and people being quiet about it at the same time.
So my logic dictates that the feature must be working for others and the problem is on my side

there was a "script" on the net that was basically a batch command that agregated all log files into a huge one. then i uploaded that file and went for a walk (took a hour or two)

also use a real browser to do this very heavy operation. forget about explorer, chrome does not do it well either, firefox if updated and not too modded would pass the test, my current preference goes to pale moon (firefox fork) because it s light and everytime firefox cannot do something, pale moon manages to do it.
