Just started re-playing elite on xbox, is there any point in using the tools websites or do they no longer apply to the abandoned consoles i.e. out of date?

You're not abandoned. The galaxy is still the same across all platforms, as it always has been.
Sorry for the wording, i have the game on pc too but play on xbox to prevent wife aggro, so the sites are still valid for mining locations and prices, thank you
