EDDB.IO-like functionality should be supported in the Galaxy Map

Based off just the information you have from your own visits and/or the collective intelligence of the squadron you are in, you should be able to do eddb.io-like searches in the galaxy map. While I appreciate the position that the galaxy map can kinda sorta support eddb.io-like use cases as is, practically speaking, I know of few commanders who use it that way; it is too hard to figure distances or see small dots on the screen.

The vast majority of commanders use eddb.io, so putting the functionality into the galaxy map would seem to be to be a win. Specifically, I'm asking for a button that shows the closest system/body/station that meets the parameters the user has defined in the galaxy map filters.

This sorta exists in the Trade Computer extension 3rd party tool.

As 3rd party tools have what you need, unfortunately I think adding this kid of functional UI to ED is going to be a very late priority.

It's a shame that ED was so beholden to the "old school" commodity prices not being available outside the system (for very much handwavium reasons) rather than having a good rethink on how the database of prices, assets, modules and ship availability across a wide range of stations could have been incorporated into gameplay.
