EDDI system jump not updating

How on earth do you get it to update the system you are in, i've excuted every command i've seen that has some sort of refresh in the description and it still seems to not work everything is enabled (netlog and EDSM ) is there just a time delay? didn't think there was because i seen someone tie it in to a jump command that gave information about the system enroute. Can't figure it out... Any ideas? thanks

The event loop command seems to work but then i get spammed with a bunch of voice overs, and it's discernible

Sorry man, can you repeat this with some interpunctions inside? I really didn't get the whole sense.
I assume you got trouble having tools like EDSM companion or EDDiscovery updating the system you just jumped into, correct?

Yes, there is a delay - about 3 or 6 seconds, maybe less. You got VerboseLogging enabled? [EDIT] And you restarted ED Client after enabling it? [/EDIT] You got the tools point to the correct log file location? After you've reached a new system, did you open the logfiel with some kind of text editor, like notepad? Can you read the new system somewhere in the last few lines of text?

that's what it says in the log, and yes verbose logging is on

When i run the command "System variables" and it displays mullag in the Voice attack log. Even though i just jumped back to Pliny and it does say that in my elite dangerous log. So i guess there is some kind of error with the it reading the log, even though the netlog monitor does have the destination of the log folder
