This may not bet he right place to post this. If so please let me know the correct place. I notice that when I get materials from a mission reward they are not synchronized with Inara. The money and commodities are. Is there a way to force EDDiscovery to "push" materials to Inara? I have tried logging in and out of everything but it does not make a difference. I also remember some weird material synchronization issues when collecting via limpets at emissions sites. I am trying to use Inara to help figure out needed engineering materials and material trader options. The main reason I am doing the missions is to get the materials, so this weird sync behavior is annoying.

I don't have experience with inara and mats, but I would suggest EDEngineer. It syncs instantly and it's a blessing when making a "shopping list" for materials.
I use EDMC to sync with Inara and materials update as expect on this side of the fence.
You can import your data manually in inara. I do this if planning engineer stuff.
I think you go to your commander page, and it's somewhere on the upper right as a button. I've seen it elsewhere on inara too but can't recall where.

Glad to see this worked out, but I wanted to add that one of the very first events written to the journal in a session is a list of all your materials. So those mission-reward materials ought to have shown up at Inara the next time you logged in.
i have noticed if you have inara on a tab you need too reload but sometimes it doesn't refresh

and This ^^^ also as I have to regularly synch Inara with ED as I have two ED accounts but you can only log into one of them at a time on Inara.
