Discussion EDDiscovery missing notes more than a month old

Hi!
Sorry if this is wrong place, or issue is not real or should be known or anything, but I just noticed something concerning (to me).

I've been using EDDiscovery + ED Market Connector for about two years now, to log my exploration events to EDSM and to add notes (in EDDiscovery) to systems interesting to me.

Now (June 2022) I decided to try to look for some content in historical notes of ED Discovery, and found out that the oldest note entries seem to be from April 29th, i.e. roughly a month ago. The grid shows data lines through my full history back to 2018, but the Note column shows only the very recent data. I know for a certainty that I have put notes entries a lot in the last two years, and now I'm wondering where they might have gone...

My flow has been such, that after exploring a system, I have got its data to EDSM via ED Market Connector, so I then use the EDSM web interface to add a note to the system's page, and then copy-paste that same note to ED Discovery's Note field for the event "FSS All Bodies Found".

I double-checked from the EDSM web interface that there the notes still exist (I looked at an entry from last January, confirmed it to have a note entry), and then I searched the same system in my ED Discovery grid and noted how there was no note for that (or anything else that old).

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Is this a bug or a feature in ED Discovery? Or something else?
It's a bit unfortunate if I can't find my notes data anymore, since although it seems to exist in EDSM, I don't know of a simple way to search for systems containing a note text "ABC". In ED Discovery I could do it easily, but currently it just doesn't seem to have the data anymore...

What are your memory settings? Maybe you load everything which takes a lot of time and ram. Do the entries never show up at all? Not even after hours?

Another thing could be if you load data from edsm.

In the EDDiscovery GUI (and excel export if I take one) I have all 122.477 line entries (since 20.4.2018), but if I filter on Excel for Note column and remove blanks to get only the rows with Note entries, the oldest one is from 29.4.2022, i.e. a little over month ago. And I'm 100 % positive I've put lots of note entries before that also, and I used to be able to find them, since I remember filtering similarly some time ago and getting more.

I wonder where these EDDiscovery data grid note entries are stored? I'd assume on my hard drive somewhere - could it be that "something" has deleted the older note entries? If I knew were to look for files, I could try to see if that reveals anything.

Or maybe I should try to (temporarily) check that box "Sync from EDSM" if it would bring my notes back?

I did try "Sync from EDSM" and it took a quite long time, but eventually it finished and now I see my notes again! Thanks for the hint!
Those that I now got back from EDSM appear now in "Jump to <system name>" entries, whereas those I didn't (temporarily) lose, were in the "FSS All Bodies Found" entries, but that doesn't bother me :). Now I just hope that future entries I put will stay there, but at least it seems this is a method for getting them back if necessary.
