I’ve recently converted to PC from XBox.

I haven’t been able to read the journal file. Is this because my account was originally on console?

ESDM will not let me link my account because it was a console originally..

Journal files and visited star history are not copied over. You'll have to at least log in to trigger the creation of the files needed. I'd make at least one jump just to be sure.

You should have created a new Frontier account to receive the copied commander. That is the account you should use for EDSM. Once again, you should login and make a jump just to get things working.

Thanks for all the replies.

I’ve been playing Odyssey for a few days and and have not been able to read the journal file.

Did I screw myself by not creating a new account on Frontier? Can I create a new one and still keep my assets, etc?
