Like others, people are running into issues with EDEngineers now. I recently got a new computer and previously on the old one it seemed to work just fine on Windows 10. My new system is Windows 11, but not sure if that has anything to do with it.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled, let it through the firewall (I think as I allowed the popup), looked on the forums and on the internet and just found this older post about the issue (or a similar one) EDEngineer Issue on Forum. In the past year or so I know on Windows 10 I had to go into Microsoft Defender and turn off the "Check Apps & Files" and now in Windows 11 I did that again (located now in the App & Browser Control --> Reputation-base protection) then run EDEngineer.exe and when it opens, go back and turn that back on again. Same error.
When I load the EDEngineer.exe it shows up with the loading screen, but hidden behind is an error message. The loading overlay is always on top and so I had to photograph the error to get a photo of it. It has an issue with the Parsing Logs.
Any idea what I can do to solve this issue? Also not sure I posed in the correct forum at all...
Thanks
