Edge 264 -Elite Dangerous Edition

Hi All,

Did anyone here purchase Edge #264 digital version? The front cover of it has an animated ship flying about, does anyone know if this is in-game footage? if so the level of detail on that ship from an external view is spectacular.

I think that's in-game footage. It's obviously a real model, not some concept art.

More importantly, is the article any good? Worth getting?

I thought it was a pretty good article too, with a nice amount of insider info i had not heard before. Well worth the read.

The magazine also has a nice article about Oculus Rift, pre friend-face buying it.

This is from someone who bought only that issue, specifically for the ED article, and not a regular reader. I have not bought it before that, and don't feel it likely i will buy it again unless it has another ED focused issue.

I think for regulars in the forums or people who've followed the newsletter there's not a lot of extra information. And the little there was has since become known. But...

It was still nice to have and read.

there's one or two threads here on the forums - as discussed a month or so ago by 'forum' regulars, and I understand, that the article in question can be read for free by conducting the appropriate google search.
