EDII and VoiceAttack To the Rescue

I maybe unique in the way that I play as I have an additional number pad on the lefthand side of my keyboard and the keys on both number pads are set to control the throttle. 1 = -100%, 2 = -57% and so on up to 9 = +100%. Then 00 = boost, plus = increase throttle and minus = throttle down.

My X52 Pro throttle is set at zero except when I'm driving an SRV, picking up cargo or fighting, that last being something I don't do these days.

So, before Beyond if I went into super cruise, or dropped to normal space either from super cruise or hyperspace the speed setting remained unchanged. Enter super cruise with 100% throttle, then in super cruise 100% throttle was still set.

With Beyond, however, the rule seems to be on entering super cruise or exiting to normal space, read the X52 Pro throttle setting and set that. All of a sudden I'm stationary in space.

This might be changed, I believe there's a bug fix for it although I could be wrong here, but it's so annoying that I've put the brain cell to work and found a solution. As the title says, EDDI and VoiceAttack to the rescue. I've set the EDDI events in VoiceAttack for 'entered normal space', 'entered super cruise' and 'jumped' to emit a '9' which sets the throttle to 100%. This now gives just about the old behaviour.

Happy days!
