Edit a bookmark causes game to exit to Main Menu

Hello,
I have a bookmarked Engineer and when I try to edit the bookmark the game will always provide me with a "Black Adder". Now a fellow cmdr FC bookmark is exhibiting the same behaviour, how can I edit these bookmarks without the Black Adder?

Does anyone know a workaround for this, I have had it happen twice to me now in quick succession. I am in a ship without any mining equipment or refinery, which I saw a different Black Adder solution in regards to.
