Anyone else had trouble with this useful little program recently? All of a sudden it won't even start up, just crashes with an error message. I've tried completely wiping it and reinstalling but that makes no difference. Very odd.

The log says ........

PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: 'C:\\Users\\myname\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\EDMarketConnector.log'

You should ask your question in this forum, even if the programmer has finished the project. Here are still many users who use EDMC.

Also a possibility ;), but how @Crumly starts we still don't know. And he has/had the problems. I click start button, and start typing (searching) EDMC, and it shows the app, and it shows options for open, run as admin, pin to start, pin to task, unistall... and so on. I click Pin to Start, and...

Anti-virus too zealous? Or there is another instance of the program running. Search in Task Manager, try rebooting or make exception in av for that folder.

Thanks, but if the programmer isn't supporting it anymore then it's only a matter of time before it becomes useless anyway. What with this and EDDB going down the pan it seems a further sign of ED's decline.
