EDO System State for Supprt Missions?

Hi all,

What state do systems need to be in for on-foot support missions to be available? I've jumped to 10+ systems or more (lost count) and each time when in a station there are no support missions.
I keep hearing that the systems need to be in a certain state for this to be possible and so reaching out to advice. This would also allow me to refine my search for those systems in those states.

Missions seem to be broken anyway. I've done two support missions yesterday and the progress was not tracked, it was impossible to complete them so I had to abandon them.

I confirm that they seem to have disappeared, I've hopped around a dozen systems (where I've always found them) and just got two.

Even 69 G. Carinae and Chambo, which used to have loads, were completely empty.

It looks like Support Missions are broken right now. I hope Fdev will fix it soon, that's what 90% of people are doing right now..

Thankyou both :) my next question would then follow as to if a support mission is available but NOT accepted would the settlement be powered down and empty of NPC's if simply visiting siad settlement or does the mission create the instance of it being empty and powered down? Would it be abandoned by default?

Interesting question. I actually don't know, I'l ltry.

You have to get hold of a spare power core though, or you'll have to cut though each door I guess

I'll await your answer @Pisodeourrior :) I didn't realise you can cut through the actual door! I normally would overcharge it but is that only with the place being powered?

I seem to creating more questions lol sry lol :p

Aha sorry for the misunderstanding, I obviously meant cut the maintenance panel and overcharge. I summarized into "cut through them".

Anyway, I've landed in about 20 stations and couldn't find a single restore mission.
I had to give up. As if upgrading gear wasn't difficult enough, now it's impossible to find the place where you actually get the materials from. Jesus

Oh hell! Well done FDEV, bring out a large update and screw other already working stuff. I've had an issue with livery not showing also and not just one but the whole Vibrant Explorer colours not working as well.

Hopefully these issues they are aware of and a hotfix or patch will be forthcoming soon!

Like the saying goes "If it aint broke don't fix it" lol
