EDSM having trouble to load

Hey there,

for two days EDSM has problems to load especially the "friends" site and friend's profiles. For now the site is dead. Nothing is loading. Every other site works perfectly. Wanted to report that. Maybe the authors can have a look.

Yeah, usually it does the same for me but the last days really the "friends" site didn't work. I had the tabs loading for about 10 minutes or so, different profiles, nothing, not even a response that it gets no response.
Another odd thing is: my girlfriend started with Elite last saturday and on sunday I set up an EDSM profile for her. When she is logged in herself she sees everything from balance over flight heatmap etc. But for me, when I'm logged in and finally eventually got on her profile the flight heatmap loads and loads and loads and loads. Even after 30 minutes it didn't load. For every other profile, I'm going to, it works, but not on her profile. I can't make sense of it. We didn't change a thing to her privacy settings.

I was just on the site and could only get the map to load. I clicked on all the dashboard tabs and nothing worked. All I got was the loading symbol that wouldn't go away.

EDSM worked fine for me just now. Had no problem running the console updater or clicking on any of the tabs. Having said that I noticed there was a recent update to the site, and it's possible the update has something to do with everyone's issues.

By now it seems that it's luck if it works or not. Yesterday evening it worked, but yesterday noon it didn't.

Your journals are on your computer. When everything is up and running EDD/EDSM will upload whatever you have done in the interim (as far as I understand it :)

The journals are on your computer, how you upload them to EDSM is your prerogative, EDSM allows manual upload if you want to do it that way. However the readme seems to imply that it should upload the log data from the journals that hasn't been done so it shouldn't be a problem, you can always ask on the forum thread.

after a fresh install of windows 10 I wanted to install the elite log agent again today but windows refuses to do so because it thinks it might be a security risk. all tips to override this failed. please offer a new version with an acutal zertificate. :) You know when you get that...

EDSM is more or less up again but still working background tasks (high load).

But technically, you can try i.e. to upload your Journals now from 11 Jan and later (when it was shutdown for Server Migration).

Hey, sorry to go necro to your post but how can I join this channel? I opened the link and logged into Discord but then it's showing nothing except of the normal Discord page I also have when I log into the PC app.

Edit: nevermind, I got it to work now :)
