Greetings CMDRS!

I did sync my data on EDSM when I was playing on console (PS4). I have my EDSM profile running way before the PC to Console migration.
At the moment I can access my EDSM PS4 linked profile and can see all my exploration data with no problem.
The problem is when I log in with my EDSM PC linked profile (with the migration already done) I can see balance or ranks with no problem but all the exploration data is not there.
Is like it doesnt update the console exploration data into my migrated PC for whatever reason. I am out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Also, there is “link account” option under “My Account” in EDSM PC profile. If I do link my EDSM PC profile with my EDSM PS4 profile will it merge everything and keep the EDSM PS4 active? Or will it delete it? Or this link option has nothing to do with merging accounts?.

EDSM PC importer does not use API access it uses PC log files... So it can only get data from files that are on the PC HDD that you now play on...
The console version importer from FDev API every 10-29 mins as a work around for not having Local files to read but this put heavy load on an online server... which is why it was capped with a time limit...

it would get way behind if you were an active player so you had to leave the web browser open aftrer playing for console to import from the API but that is way slow...
EDSM for PC uses Automatic uploader add ons that you install to the PC If the files are not on the PC HDD theres nothing to import so the history is blank...
Theres no slow progress bar animation for PC version as its all done via PC app installs that upload the log files to EDSM...
Your history log files dont exist on the PC hardware from PC use so EDSM has no files to load and API log files were restricted to 30days on consoles as well...

You the user can't merge accounts only the site admin can as Consoles now have Zero support on EDSM...

I see. Thanks for the information.

I am confused as Inara is doing it right. I have both accounts and both show ALL exactly the same. Including the exploration data. Why cant EDSM get that same data?.

Because EDSM never used the API for PC... Inara did from day one...
But inara never created a 3D map of the routes you travel and has no 3D map display

im also having issues. my old account was Rea1MikePence/Dom Rosa8580 im wondering if the linking made the system confused or what is going on. its messed with edsm and inara
