Guys, I cannot get over how awesome this little bit of kit is!

Having previously had a go in a friend's Rift, I didn't know how I would respond to this device, as I'd "tasted" the other side, as it were.

But it was worth it.

EDTracker Pro is really easy to set up, took me five minutes to understand everything on the UI, and the driver downloads automatically on Windows 10.

It's really accurate, and I can already say that it's transformed Elite for me. Looking around the canopy whilst performing manoeuvres, all with my head alone, makes me feel like a proper pilot.

If you're looking for something cheap and affordable to change the game for you, I highly recommend this one.

5/5

I had one of the original edtrackers years ago but it kept drifting and I could never fix it, Have they fixed the drift problem?

Thinking of selling my Vive and buying 2 more monitors instead which if the edtracker is working right would be perfect.

We know! We know!:) Flying with one since 3302 or so. Can't imagine flying without one and tbh after 1st try I never again tried to do so without one.

But more posts like yours will make more ppl get it. The EDtracker's creators surely deserve all the love there is!! <3

P.S.
Using wireless one maybe, Commander?

Been hearing 'bout those drifting issues years ago. It's a long gone history mate. I bought mine 2+ years ago and never had any issues of this or any other sort. They upgraded the whole thing sice the early models, plus every few months there is a new firmware to be downloaded. So they care about their products pretty well. Highly recommend!!

I went for a wired one in the end.

Yes, someone did offer me theirs now they have VR, but I'd rather they give it to someone more in need.

Personally, there was no issue for me to buy new. If said person is reading then I hope they understand. It's not me being ungrateful, it's just I am lucky enough to be able to afford to buy my own. Not everyone is in that position sadly.

Hear hear ... I have the TrackIR device but whichever bit of kit you get (EDTracker is much cheaper) headtracking really is a game changer and highly recommended. I couldn't bear to fly without it now.
