EDTracker/Opentrack can't switch off tracking...

Hi, I have just come back to ED on the PC after using it on the XBox since last xmas.
I have reset up my joysticks and my EDTracker, the ED software is still where it always was and after a few updates runs no problem, the game runs with the joystick just as it always did but....

I have now found that the button on my Joystick that I used to switch on/off headtracking no longer does it I have been through the options and settings but everything seems fine but no joy.

I use F1 to toggle tracking in Opentrack (linked to the Joystick button) but while this works fine with just Opentrack and EDTracker UI open as soon as I launch the game the key for on/off doesn't work, it's as if the game takes total focus of the keyboard away while running.

I have changed to different buttons or keys but while they all work alone as soon as the game takes focus they stop.

I tried the three different options for the game, ie windowed, borderless etc but nothing changes....

It's quite irritating as I always switched off head tracking inside stations as the boards need to be stationary to read them.

Has anyone any idea what I am missing? This always worked before has some patch changed it?

I use EDTracker and to toggle it on/off I use middle mouse button, works fine for years. Note: on/off key binding is done in game settings, not EDTracker software.

Default state is set to off. But when the game starts headlook is on.

It just seems that once the game is running I can't toggle headlook off no matter what key I set to it.
