I can imagine that we most likely already have these things waiting for us on final release, but I would love to have some animal objects (i.e. skulls, shells, feathers) and lifelike statues (e.g. animal models in a particular pose) to use to make education carts/displays like these:
Playing with the piece by piece building system made me realise how easy it would be to make some really fantastic little education points for guests, even if they wouldn’t be interactive.
We have them at zoos I’ve worked at - skulls are usually to demonstrate anatomy and the similarities between species, or the size of canine teeth. Pelts/bone/shells help to engage people in messages of animal trafficking and the black market, or traditional medicines. We even had a few that showed crab traps and typical plastic waste to demonstrate how marine mammals could get stuck. They’re very popular and help to get messages across, with people learning by doing/seeing something interesting.
