Eeek!

I am 10,000 LY towards Sag A*, jump into a system and see in horror as my Anaconda passes straight through the system's binary star! Luckily I escaped with minimal module damage which is all repaired.

Pleased to know you're safe. I was afraid I was not going to sleep this night if you hadn't told me that you are.

I'm sorry, I thought this was the exploration sub-forum not "dangerous discussion"....

In an attempt to raise the quality:
Yeah the exit of hyperspace seems to be pre-animated and have some kind of invulnerability to emergency stops for a few seconds. As im sure you and most others know it can still drop you in-between the binaries and fry you for a while though :p

Experienced the same thing on my race to Sag A*;wakes you up pretty quick as scooping starts immediately, heat thundering upwards, cockpit sparkling, all the while you desperately try to find the best escape vector. Yeah, I was fully alert after that jump, and glad I was at full throttle.

In space, everyone can hear your unnecessary sarcasm :) Glad you survived, I have yet to encounter this scenario. Guess I was lucky so far.
