My "scoop'n scoot":
1: Drop out of hyperspace at full throttle
2: Start the D Horn
3: Maneuver tangential to exclusion zone and begin scooping into my next hyperspace vector
4: When scooping is complete start the FSD just as heat starts to drop off
5: While FSD charges open system map, check for pretty things
6: Complete FSD charge and enter hyperspace, or in the event pretty things happen abort jump and investigate.\
I used to cut throttle when jumping in on scoopable stars, but found that the maximum speed when scooping from a star is about .33C, or something close, regardless for how fast you were going before. Of course, I still cut throttle when jumping on neutrons, black holes, and other non-main sequence stars, and brown dwarf stars.
Total jumpclock: 35 seconds with a class 4A scoop.
