Okay so last night started the beer run CG saw a few 'human' CMDRS
They must have been on silent running coz they ignored my friendly greetings but I digress what I did see was two mostly harmless Anacondas and the same in T-9s!!! Hence my topic and I just can't believe it's from Robigo runs!! Any explanations welcomed

They could also just be traders. I know a PC guy who's an Elite trader, but Harmless 0%. He doesn't fight, ever. He's just a trader.

Robigo runs are just wrong for new players I think you should be at least competent rating before you get anything
I mean I scanned an Annie and NO WEAPONS just shield boosters

By the time I lined him/her up to taste some Python fury he/she high waked it out the T-9 would have been no fun but just does my nut in!!!

This..

could be a trader, could be a explorer, the harmless only indicates his combat rank.. He might be playing since GPP, doing all kinds of non combat BB missions..

Don't judge somebody on his combat rank only..

There you have it. You just answered your own question.. He is prolly a dedicated trader.. why can't he fly a Anaconda?

These are the type of condas that you can swat like a dead mosquito with a hauler. No flying skills whatsoever. A mostly harmless cmndr in a anaconda attacked me a few months back. I was in my cobra mk 3 with the stock weapons. He logged on me when he noticed that i would annihilate him anyway... :D

I saw a harmless CMDR in a Cutter trying to leave the station in Shinrarta last week. He couldn't even get the great white whale out through the slot. I really should have gotten it on film.

Left,left,left, a bit more, Crunch.. doh. Panic, Right,right,right..crunch.

5 mins of comedy gold.

Exactly what Arne said.

You're judging these CMDRs on a lack of intel. FD haven't seen fit to display a pilots rank in what he does for a living, they only display what his rank in combat is. This is a mistake. Just look at the prejudice it breeds.

An elite trader has every right to fly a conda.

How often do you guys think that people chose to avoid combat and never fire a single laser at anybody in the time it takes to go from a Sidewinder to an Anaconda (months!)? This isn't a common phenomena. It's safe to assume that if you see an Anaconda with a Harmless combat rank chances are they did Robigo and haven't just chosen to avoid any and all combat ever since getting the game until proven otherwise.

I have to agree that this is likely to be the case. I'm sure there are some who pretty much avoid any and all combat but I imagine they are in the minority.
