EIC Sales Department - Player-driven emergent gameplay and economy

I tried these guys out yesterday and it was a hoot. https://discordapp.com/invite/4UYz4nr

Basically I traded 32 Modular Terminals for a 3X store credit, which I'll probably use to buy some mining-only commodities to complete missions. The Store will sell the MTs for 5X Palladium each to a new commander trying to unlock Marco Qwent. It's probably the closest we'll come to an actual market economy.

Edit: The "store" is a Cutter fitted for max cargo. Could be a huge Piracy target...just sayin'!

If we still had Commodities for Engineer upgrades this could be a HUGE thing.

The folks at EIC are running a slick operation on par with that of the Fuel Rats...after joining their discord server, I was greeted with a price list & instructions, the process couldn't have been simpler...
Me: er hello, I need X Modular Terminals plz
EIC: you're in luck, we've just had a big delivery
me: cool
EIC: we'll ping you soon
Approx 1hr later I had a message, although I didn't spot it immediately - when I messaged back, their sales rep gave me a target system and wing request and I had the MTs in my hold within 15 minutes and I was chatting with Marco Qwent 10 minutes after that.

As OP says, MT=5 Paladium each...approx 64Kcr if you buy at the station they recommend

It's a pretty cool setup. Providing MT's to the EIC would make for an interesting sideline gig as well, I'd wager. People are always looking for things to do, so it's cool that there are other players who can provide such opportunities.
